Looking for your daily copy of the...well Daily Prophet. Perhaps you're one of those loonies who actually bothers wasting their time reading The Blather. Either way this is the best place to pick up either along with your monthly skin rag. Oh don't act like you don't buy those.

Want to take that Care of Magical Creatures class you've been hearing so much about? Or maybe you're looking to drop that brutal Charms class that you just don't seem to have the knack for. You can do all that right here.

[ ]Dungeons (2 sub-boards)
The ancient Dungeons of Hogwarts are the same as most dungeons in old castles; dank and dark. However, this does not stop Potion's classes from being held here or students snogging in the spare rooms no matter how morbid it may appear. For that matter it doesn't stop the Kitchens from being there either.

[ ]Ground Floor (4 sub-boards)
The grand entrance hall of Hogwarts encompasses most of this floor but leads to the Great Hall and in turn a few empty classrooms along with the staffroom. The Courtyard is also on the same level but is more so in an open area.

Most notably known as "that floor the Hospital Wing is on," it is also home to some empty classrooms and a rather magnificent velvet painting of a whale getting it on with a dolphin. It was Peeve's idea of a good laugh.

Personal opinion on the Second Floor? Avoid it like the plauge. Myrtle seems to have gotten a bit more moany as of late.

[ ]Third Floor (4 sub-boards)
Not often traveled by students this floor contains two of Hogwarts most storied rooms in the Trophy Room and The Armour Gallery. While most students bypass these rooms some linger to glance at the things from yesteryear.

[ ]Fourth Floor (1 sub-board)
What's on the Fourth Floor you ask? Well uhm to be honest the Library. No I'm not messing with you the floor itself is now all one huge Library. A reader's delight and a great place to catch a snog in between classes or on a lazy afternoon the Library is a favorite of every Hogwart's student.

[ ]Fifth Floor
Unfortunately there isn't much on this level of Hogwarts except the luxurious Prefect's Bathroom complete with perverted paintings and a plumbing route for Myrtle to travel. You can also find empty classrooms throughout the floor and the significant stone statues of Gregory the Smarmy and Boris the Bewildered - always a perfect target for those few student with less... honourable... intentions.

[ ]Sixth Floor (2 sub-boards)
Home to the Hufflepuff's Head of House's classroom most students only frequent this floor to attend Defense Against The Dark Arts class or to seek a meeting with Professor Tristan Alfulas. Neither of which is very safe for the record.

[ ]Seventh Floor (2 sub-boards)
A more multi-functional floor then anything. Not only does it lead to the towers but it also has a student lounge, various class rooms, and if you try hard enough (or not at all) you may even find the Room of Requirement.

[ ]The Towers (5 sub-boards)
The Towers of Hogwart's offer the best mix for those looking for something to occupy their time with. You can catch up on your Astronomy home work, send an owl, or just do some plain old star gazing from the one tower not filled with anything.

[ ]The Grounds (6 sub-boards)
The pristine Hogwart's grounds in their expansiveness are every students dream. From The Quidditch Pitch to the Forbidden Forest students can find just about anything to do outside. That of course doesn't mean the staff condones all of it so do your best not to get caught.

Common Rooms
[ ]Gryffindor Common Room
The entrance for the common room is on the seventh floor and opens into a cozy looking room, on either side of which are two doors, one leading to the girls and one to the boys. While ventures of the night-time variety are open to girls, the few boys 'brave' enough to venture into the girls' dormitory must first navigate the stairs which turn into a magical slippery slide upon contact with the opposite sex. On the other hand, this kind of excitement may very well be preferred.

[ ]Hufflepuff Common Room
Always the practical thinkers the 'puff common room is located in the dungeons. Not only does this mean that they do not have to travel up stairs at the end of a long day, it also means optimum proximity to the kitchens for the odd student hankering for a midnight snack. The entrance itself is near the kitchens behind a still-life to which you must speak a password in order to gain access.
Moderators: Professor Tristan Alfulas, Rollo Bonette

[ ]Ravenclaw Common Room
In an attempt to make access as inconvenient as possible so only the really motivated students can get in, the Ravenclaw common room is located on the west side of the castle up a tall, tightly-winding staircase. As if this physical exertion wasn't enough of a test the door itself has no handles - rather students must answer a riddle to get into the common room. It begs the question - how many sleepy Ravenclaws does it take to get to bed? Depends how stupid the riddle is.

[ ]Slytherin Common Room
Because the stereotypical Slytherin wasn't content with simply valuing bloodline and exhibiting elitism in this regard, the Slytherin common room sits underneath the lake. Some call it overcompensating, others call it cool. Either way that is where it is. The entrance itself is in the dungeons, disguising itself as an empty cell until the correct password is said.

Wizarding World
[ ]Hogsmeade (8 sub-boards)
The only all wizarding settlement in Great Britain is still just that since the discovery. It is also home to several spectacular shops. From Dervish and Banges to The Three Broomsticks it provides something for everyone of all ages. This of course is most suitable as third years and above from Hogwarts visit on certain weekends.

[ ]The Ministry of Magic (10 sub-boards)
The Ministry resides underneath London and it's infrastructure is probably one of the most complex in all of the wizarding world. While it is usually visited by only Ministry workers for their jobs you can also come here to take your appartation test, appear for hearings, or apply for a ludicrous patents. Whatever your business here you will none the less be swept up in the Ministry's hustle and bustle.
